The brief was not only for a re-fresh to this London apartment, but to create a flexible space to entertain guests; an area that can be easily transformed to accommodate the bar, dancing, dinner or afternoon tea. The apartment was opened up to allow for more natural light and the original, heavy wooden staircase was brought back to life with slick black piano paint.

An iconic Herve Van der Straten mirror and vintage drinks cabinet set the tone, and custom built benches were inserted into the the original wall recesses to provide additional seating and storage to these once empty voids.
