As a Westchester native, the opportunity to participate in a local charity and contribute to my community is incredibly meaningful. The Rachel Laxer Interiors team is grateful for the network of suppliers that contributed to create a calm and beautiful space.  

My inspiration comes from Singita, the South African term for “The Place of Miracles”. This concept resonated with me as I was thinking about what the Ronald McDonald House means to families undergoing challenging difficult times.

The wallpaper in the entry is entitled Singita, designed by Cole & Son, and was the beginning of the creative process in developing a calm retreat for the families staying in the space. The room uses botanical prints and incorporates nature to bring in the serenity of the outdoors.
